Pakistan Completes Players Selection Ahead of NZ Tour
Pakistan completed players selection ahead of New Zealand tour while Head Coach Mickey Arthur went to leave after consultation from chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq.
Pakistan Cricket Team will depart for New Zealand on December 20 where five ODIs and three T20Is are scheduled to start from January 6.
Arthur, has gone to Australia on vacation after finalizing the selection with chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq of National Team  ahead of New Zealand tour.
However, a short training camp will also be set up in New Zealand for Pakistani players whereas Pakistan’s coaching staff also join the team in New Zealand after vacations.  Pakistan Team to play single practice match against New Zealand A on January 3 ahead of series.
Opener-Batsman Ahmed Shahzad is likely to drop for limited overs series from New Zealand whereas fast-bowler Usman Shinwari’s name is not being considered due to his fitness problem.
Further,  seasoned batsman Azhar Ali is being added for Kiwis tour in replace of Ahmed Shahzad while left-arm-pacer Rumman Raees will be replaced with Usman Shinwari.
