PCB lends all its support to Mohammad Hafeez

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced via a press release that it will stand by Mohammad Hafeez in the difficult time and will lend all the support needed to rectify his bowling action.
“The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) would like to clarify that it stands behind Mohammad Hafeez and is lending all its support to him to rectify his bowling action,” the press release read.
The board further revealed that a review committee has already been set up that will provide complete training to change the bowling action as per ICC requirements.
“The PCB will like to state that already a bowling action review committee has been set up where Ahsan Raza, Ali Zia, Saleem Jaffar, and Sajad Akhtar are its members. The committee has been tasked to provide all possible training and assistance to rectify his bowling action at par with ICC standard,” it further stated.
The board has completely denied the reports regarding their lack of support for the experienced all-rounder, Mohammad Hafeez.
The review committee will give recommendations to the 37-year old for fixing his action and will undergo a test in PCB’s biomechanics lab in Lahore.
“On the recommendations of the four-member committee, Mohammad Hafeez will work on his action at the National Cricket Academy, and after every 10 days will undergo a test at the biomechanics lab setup in LUMS. The committee will, therefore, analyze the reports of the tests, and will further guide Mohammad Hafeez before he proceeds with the official test to ICC,” the official statement said.
Earlier, Mohammad Hafeez had failed the bowling action test that he underwent on November 1, in England and now he has been suspended from bowling at the international level.
